Under the brand Dreiländerbahn, HLB Hessenbahn operates regional passenger rail transport in Hessen, North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate, from where the name is derived. The line RB 96, also known as the Hellertalbahn, runs hourly, making it the ideal starting point for a visit to the local mining museum and/or hikes on the numerous hiking trails in the region.
