Detailed description

From Hohenseelbachskopf, a forest path leads into the Sottersbach Valley. The straight course still shows the route of the brake railway at Hohenseelbachskopf (Herdorf), which was used to transport the quarried basalt stones to the valley station. Here, they were loaded onto the Sottersbach Valley railway. The narrow-gauge railway then transported the basalt for loading onto the standard-gauge railway in the Hellertal. Hohenseelbachskopf is a station on the Grubenwanderweg Daaden and the Druidensteig.
