Up to 2 persons / night = 60€

For the 3rd and 4th person we charge a surcharge of 10€ each

All prices plus final cleaning / stay = 50 €

A deposit of 30% will be charged after booking. Please pay the remaining amount 10 days before arrival. Cancellations up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge. Later cancellations will be charged at 90% of the total price.

Travel arrangements

Our arrival time is from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, while we ask you to vacate the apartment by 10:00 AM. Individual arrival and departure times can be arranged upon prior arrangement to best meet your needs.

Surroundings
The nature-oriented holiday apartment Engels borders on the Nature Trail Sieg (approx. 1.5 km) and the Westerwald Trail (approx. 2.5 km). However, many other, partly award-winning hiking or adventure trails such as the Druidensteig, the Wiedweg, the Erlebnisweg Sieg - Auenlandweg (Germany's most beautiful hiking trail, ranked 2nd in the day trip category), the Marienwanderweg, which connects the two monastery towns of Marienthal and Marienstatt, and also the brand new Wäller Tour - Raiffeisen's Sunday Stroll - can be reached in just a few minutes by car. Many other trails in the beautiful Siegtal and the green Westerwald offer numerous hiking opportunities. There are also many options for cyclists to explore our region.

By car, you can easily reach, for example, a treetop path, several wildlife parks, a climbing forest, a visitor mine, or the Raiffeisen observation tower. The town of Hachenburg (approx. 19 km), with its charming historic old town and marketplace, a local museum, and shopping opportunities, is also accessible by bus and train and is always worth a visit.
The district town of Altenkirchen is about 11 km away.

In the nearby town of Hamm/Sieg, which is easily reachable on foot or by bus (about 1 km, birthplace of Friedrich-Wilhelm Raiffeisen), you will find the well-known German Raiffeisen Museum, recognized far beyond the region. In summer, the largest forest swimming pool in the Westerwald, the Thalhausermühle (16,000 sqm of water surface, 15,000 sqm of lounging area), invites you to climb, swim, jump, slide, relax, and linger.

For daily necessities, you will find various grocery discounters, bakeries, and a beverage market in Hamm/Sieg, which is only about 1 km away.
A drugstore, a bookstore, and pharmacies are also available. Restaurants, an ice cream parlor, and a pizza delivery service will treat you to culinary delights.
The Au/Sieg train station, with very good connections to Cologne and Siegen, is 3 km away and can be comfortably reached by bus. The bus stop is 150 m away.
