On 14 June 2026, we will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Bindweide Mine together – and we would like to extend a warm invitation to you all! From 11.30 am, a special celebration for the whole family awaits you around the visitor mine. Look forward to a day full of tradition, togetherness and wonderful encounters in a unique atmosphere. Whether you’re a long-standing friend of the Bindweide Mine, a family from the region or a curious visitor – everyone is welcome here!

Live musicThe Bindweider Bergkapelle and the Musikverein Steinebach will ensure a great atmosphere.
Delicious food & drinksFrom hearty meals to light snacks, there’s something for everyone, young and old alike.
Coffee, cake & sweet treatsEnjoy a cosy time over coffee and homemade cake.
Small stallsBrowse, discover and enjoy the special atmosphere.
Public viewing in the eveningFrom 6 pm, we also invite you to join us for public viewing on a big screen. Experience the football atmosphere in good company and round off the day together. The public viewing is organised by the Steinebach/Sieg Volunteer Fire Brigade.

Public Viewing in the Evening Starting at 6:00 p.m., we invite you to join us for public viewing on a large screen. Experience the excitement of football in a social setting and end the day together. The public viewing is organized by the volunteer fire department of Steinebach/Sieg.
Organizer The anniversary festival is organized by the Verbandsgemeinde Betzdorf-Gebhardshain and the support association of the Bindweide mine. We look forward to celebrating 40 years of the Bindweide mine with you and experiencing an unforgettable day!
