Hiking Trail
Route profile
Notice
In the tour planner we inform you under the tab "Current info" about temporary route changes, closures and detours.
From the hiking car park, I walk past the old oak tree and the old village bakery and through meadows and fields down into the Wied valley. The sound cradle prompts me to take the first break, and I let my body be permeated by the harp tones. Then I continue past the mine entrance of the Silberwiese mine to Oberlahr. Here I take a detour to the historic village square with a neo-Gothic church, an old parsonage, the village bakery, and some old half-timbered houses. The sound path leads me along Langenauer Street past former factory buildings of the Silberwiese ore mine, back through forest paths to Rott, past fish ponds and further sound instruments. Older information boards from a former nature trail complement my path, so that I am well informed and in a harmonious mood when I soon reach my starting point again at the old oak tree in Rott.
You reach the Rott exit via the B 256 (about 1 km south of Flammersfeld)
Regional line 120 or bus line 126 (each connected to Altenkirchen station)Exit Flammersfeld Town Hall (approx. 900 m access)Exit junction Eichen/Rott (approx. 750 m access)

Especially for families with children, there are many great instruments to discover on the Little Wäller Sound Path. The route is never boring. Try out, listen, see, feel, or simply swing on the seesaw and look up at the sky. That is what the sound path offers. Always follow the purple music note with the sound waves, then you are on the right track. With a stroller or balance bike, the circular route is a real excursion highlight.
