Below the Mehrener Church lies the open-air stage at a pond area. Built in 1986 in an idyllic location in Greek-Roman style, it is today the venue for a variety of open-air events and concerts. The dimensions of the Mehrener open-air stage were derived in reduced proportions from the ancient theater in Ephesus. Particularly notable is its acoustics, which can be appreciated by a visitor from the center of the round stage area.
