Description

Every year on the first Sunday in July, it's time - the Siegtal is car-free: The route is closed to all motor vehicle traffic for over 100 kilometers and is reserved for cyclists, inline skaters, joggers, and pedestrians. They can really spread out between 9 AM and 6 PM while biking, skating, hiking, or running. There are numerous street and sports festivals, as well as cyclist meetings along the route and in the towns or municipalities, offering plenty of activities, special opportunities to visit sights that are usually closed, and many chances to recharge with drinks and food.
