Experience nature ... this means encountering the native wildlife, especially at the Niederfischbach Animal Park. Storks, lynxes, wild boars, and raccoons can tell many exciting stories about their lives. Caring for and breeding endangered, traditional domestic animal breeds are the focal points of the park.
A highlight is the falconry, which is in season from April 1st to early November. In 15 spacious aviaries, falcons, owls, eagles, and buzzards live, which can be experienced daily (except on Mondays and Tuesdays) at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM in free flight during a demonstration. Here, a falconer provides a wealth of information about the different birds and their strategies.
