With open eyes through... Friedewald Castle
World Guide Day 2026 in the Altenkirchen District
Only on a few days of the year can Friedewald Castle open its doors to the public. This year also on the occasion of World Guide Day on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 2 PM.
We, the Interest Group of Guides Westerwald-Sieg, will lead guests together with the Sausmikat family and Dr. Jens Friedhof through the facility, part of the garden, and some of the numerous rooms.
At several stations, guests will receive information about the history, the building, its current and former uses, and of course about the castle lords.
Participation only by registration. The number of participants is limited! Book your ticket now!
